In MF beta (logged in), I tried editing
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Awjrichards?action=edit and
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foobar and both times on save I was sent to the
desktop site (en.wikipedia.org), and my edits were submitted.
