Screenshot showing message received with British English interface language

On commons, I have my interface language set as British English (en-GB) - on
Jan/9 I added an English description to a local file on commons,
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Leuk01.jpg

Commons is now clearly telling me in no uncertain terms that "this image does
not appear to have a description in your interface language. Please add one."

This smells like a bug - surely the system can realize that British English,
American English, Canadian English and English are the same damn thing and
regardless of where you come from, you can still understand it :)

Would appreciate someone taking a look at this, for the record I've included a
screenshot of what I'm seeing this end.

Thanks :)
