I have installed all the Math component, then used macport to install latex,
dvipng, gs, convert. I compiled texvc. The components all individually work,
but with I have a sandbox entry <math>$a$</math> I get
"Failed to parse (PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of
latex and dvipng (or dvips + gs + convert)): $a$"
Given this, I suspect dvipng is in the wrong spot.
