It looks like something changed between 1.19.2 and 1.19.3 that makes
$wgSharedDB no longer work for shared user account. These are the symptoms:
1. Things work fine on the "original" wiki - you can login to it, and if you
login to it first you can then seamlessly move over to the "$wgSharedDB" wiki.
2. If you try logging in to the "$wgSharedDB" first, it acts as if login failed
completly.
3. If you try logging in to the "$wgSharedDB" first, and check the "remember my
login for 180 days" button, login works.
