The idea has come up on the mailing list [1][2] for the addition of extra data
onto the [[Special:Statistics]], this would be a good idea for a extension to
handle if there was a hook present.
This hook would also presumably also be helpful to other extensions that wish
to add their own information without having to manually edit the page.
