            Bug ID: 46025
Summary: VisualEditor: Leaving a link while the inspector is
                    open can remove the link.
           Product: VisualEditor
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: User Interface
          Assignee: rm...@wikimedia.org
          Reporter: esand...@wikimedia.org
                CC: jforres...@wikimedia.org, krinklem...@gmail.com,
                    rm...@wikimedia.org
    Classification: Unclassified
   Mobile Platform: ---

0. Open a document with links already in it.
1. Click on a MediaWiki link, then click the icon to open the inspector.
2. Click anywhere else in the document to lose focus.
3. You're link has now been removed :(

Note that this doesn't happen if you have just created a link, or if you have
edited a link, so I assume this is functionality for letting people abandon the
creation of a link.

The only way to remove a link should be with the delete icon in the inspector,
or clear formatting.

This doesn't appear to affect external links.
