The VoteNY extension (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:VoteNY) has 11
internationalization messages, of which 8 are prefixed with voteny- (extension
name in lowercase and a hyphen, as the convention has been to avoid conflicts
with core or other extensions) and one is prefixed right- (the user right
message) and two have no prefix/have their own prefix (the special page
messages).
Since 4 September 2012, translatewiki.net localization commits have omitted the
voteny- prefix (see
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/gitweb?p=mediawiki/extensions/VoteNY.git;a=commitdiff;h=301eced593c0e32d4c5ca8a6e82c86de8f205497)
and effectively the user interface of the extension has been somewhat "broken"
for non-English languages since that very date, too, as localization hasn't
been available despite the messages existing on the .i18n.php file.
