Bug ID: 46469
Summary: When previewing user JS pages, closing </script> tags
are written directly into HTML
Product: MediaWiki
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Unprioritized
Component: Page editing
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Classification: Unclassified
Mobile Platform: ---
I have prepared a test at
https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Rillke/testcaseX.js&action=edit
Please do the following:
0) Use Mozilla Firefox (didn't test other browsers but guess it doesn't matter)
1) Disable instant preview via JS/AJAX, set your user lang to en
2) Ensure you are allowed to edit other user's JS
3) Click edit, then preview
4) Scroll down the page.
The result is that parts of the script are directly visible on screen. A big
logo of a big company is shown.
Expected result: No additional text below the page's regular ending.
