Web browser: --- Bug ID: 46479 Summary: LiquidThreads at wikitech.wikimedia.org Product: Wikimedia Labs Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: Unprioritized Component: General Assignee: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org Reporter: q...@wikimedia.org CC: abog...@wikimedia.org, benap...@gmail.com, rlan...@gmail.com, wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org Classification: Unclassified Mobile Platform: --- Please provide the LiquidThreads extension at wikitech.wikimedia.org. Yes, it has its problems but all in all is a better discussion environment than plain Talk pages, especially for users that haven't done Talk discussions before. Most of those issues barely appear in regular use, casual discussions, sporadic page moves... Our primary audience are developers and other technical contributors. All of them know what a web form is and how it behaves. It is safe to assume that many of them haven't discussed the Talk page way before. We could have it optional as in mediawiki.org. I would even go for having it as opt-out, giving the option to editors to turn them off: {{#useliquidthreads:0}} -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
