Could there be a link to open the message separately? (Like in the old
interface, when you click the message name in the left column). It could e.g.
be there in the top-left corner when a message is opened, where the title is
written anyway (like "FreeCol:Freecol.desktopEntry.Comment/tet", or
"Translations:Help:FAQ/78/de"). I would find this sometimes helpful to access
the "full" editing window, with special characters etc.).
