i chose Tools then Special Pages
(http://toro.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:SpecialPages)then the link for Log
In/Create an Account and got the old style login page
(http://toro.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:UserLogin) without the green new account
"Join testwiki" button.
