These are popular tracker formats [[Tracker (music software)]] which we could
potentially support. This should be supported because they are akin to source
code. If we want to be maximally-editable, then we should allow the files to be
uploaded directly, like we do with SVG.
My best information is that these formats should not be patent-encumbered, are
FLOSS of one variety of another, however there may be limited capability for
verifying the files are safe.
For playback, we can use ModPlug-XMMS (http://modplug-xmms.sourceforge.net/) to
convert to Ogg Theora and use pre-existing facilities for serving that.
