--- Comment #9 from Derrick Coetzee <[email protected]> 2009-08-26 20:42:58 UTC --- Although in theory the pixel data from a raw image file could be stored in a PNG/TIFF, with transparent pixels for missing pixels, the main problem with using PNG/TIFF is that there really isn't any existing raw image processing software which accepts images in this format.
