            Bug ID: 48559
           Summary: Nearby re-requests location
           Product: MediaWiki extensions
           Version: master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: MobileFrontend (Beta)
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected],
                    [email protected], [email protected],
                    [email protected]
    Classification: Unclassified
   Mobile Platform: ---

(Reported by Jared last week, spotted again on Howie's phone just now)

1. Visit Nearby on a device that hasn't accessed it before
2. You'll get a request to use your location data
3. Navigate to an article in the list and go back to Nearby, or just refresh
the page
4. You'll get another request to use your location data

This doesn't always happen, as I can't get the location request to trigger
again on my phone at all -- appears to affect brand new Nearby users only.
