Yes, that is what I was trying to find (either directly or through a link) in
the announcement.  It seems from
http://docs.mathjax.org/en/latest/localization.html it is passed in the URL.

Yes, this was before I looked at the implementation, so I was wondering if you
were using a pre-existing JavaScript localization library.
