On pages such as
http://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q13407049
we are able to supply dozens of "translations" in a row,
since there are dozens of languages sharing the Latin
spelling of proper names, e.g.

Often I copy & paste & save them faster than than my
system, the internet and the wikidata servers reply.
Waiting for each save operation individually before
being able to proceed is not a pleasant option on the
long run.

So, how about having an internal queue of entries being
in the process of being saved - maybe even in parallel,
when one takes exceptionally long - maybe including a
recovery mechanism from broken connections - maybe with
an on-page indicator of the queue length and a warning
when you want to leave the page before everything has
been saved?

Maybe make queuing an option in the user preferences?
