As a recent discussion about the translation of "Template:" namespace on
Vietnamese Wikipedia

the members unanimously agreed that in Vietnamese and the translation from
"Template" to "Tiêu bản" cannot reflect the true meaning of that term on
Wikipedia and make newcomers feel difficult to understand what it is.
Consequently, the vi.wikipedia community started a voting on changing the name
of this namespace. The voting lasts for over a month, and the result is
"Bản_mẫu".
I, on behalf of vi.wikipedia community, file this bug to ask for changing
namespace "Template:" to "Bản_mẫu:". About other Vietnamese Wikimedia
projects, it will take time to gain consensus on all of them, but we hope that
this namespace should be changed on MediaWiki software, too (except those
existing projects), because, as I said above, the translation from "Template"
to "Tiêu bản" cannot reflect the true meaning of that term on Wikipedia (the
First members of our projects have misunderstand the meaning of "template", and
translation with the meaning in Biology field).
I'd like to hear opinion from the developers.
