Hi Sumana.

This happens when redirects aren't parsed as redirects. For example, when you
put a redirect on a page and you do a preview, you can see the exact same
behavior.

I think LQT comments doesn't support redirects and this is by design.

What would you expect to happen if you put a redirect?

* Make the browser load the new page (I think this can be confusing, and
dangerous, if this appears on a thread listing page / Special:NewMessages)

* Load the contents of another page? (Although this should probably be achieved
by transcluding its contents like any other template, like {{:Page title}}.)

Closing this bug for now. Feel free to reopen if you or anybody else has a
clear concept of what should happen when inserting a redirect on a LQT comment
