Jesús Martínez Novo (Ciencia Al Poder) <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |INVALID --- Comment #1 from Jesús Martínez Novo (Ciencia Al Poder) <[email protected]> --- Hi Sumana. This happens when redirects aren't parsed as redirects. For example, when you put a redirect on a page and you do a preview, you can see the exact same behavior. I think LQT comments doesn't support redirects and this is by design. What would you expect to happen if you put a redirect? * Make the browser load the new page (I think this can be confusing, and dangerous, if this appears on a thread listing page / Special:NewMessages) * Load the contents of another page? (Although this should probably be achieved by transcluding its contents like any other template, like {{:Page title}}.) Closing this bug for now. Feel free to reopen if you or anybody else has a clear concept of what should happen when inserting a redirect on a LQT comment -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
