When protecting (beveiligen) a page the action gets marked as a small edit. See
[1] for an example edit. The same goes for unprotecting a page. It seems
unlogical to mark a protection as a small change as it is quite an important
action to a page. The topic was discussed [2] on the Dutch Wikipedia on a
moderator request page, but it seems that this is not something a sysop can
change.
Is it possible to change protections to mayor/normal edits instead of small
edits.
And if yes, can this be done for the Dutch Wikipedia? (Maybe this is considered
a mistake and should be changed on all wikis, but I believe I'm not in any
position to decide about that).
I'm not sure whether I selected the correct Component, please correct when
necessary.
