But my point is that each language version of Wikipedia should not have to create gadgets to provide VE options to its editors. Some preferences need to be provided in all MediaWiki installations. Or at least all Wikimedia installations of MediaWiki. For example: *Display both "edit" and "edit source" links for sections without hover. *Remove VisualEditor from the user interface (VE still loads, but it can not be used). The first preference will mean that far fewer people will use the second preference. And the 2 preferences should be together so that people can see why they should choose the first preference over the other.
