The interaction with links in the Echo flyout is somewhat erratic, presumably
due to the interaction between JavaScript-fired events and the regular links.
Most notably, loading a link in a background tab doesn't always work
consistently. In Chrome/Ubuntu, opening any link via middle-click loads it in a
background tab as well as in the current foreground tab. This does not happen
when using right-click. Ignatzmice is reporting the same behavior when
CMD-clicking on a Mac:
