Yes, handling page changes is one of the trickier things that there may or may
not be time for this summer.

However, we do want to fix the issue where the wrong annotations appear when
you look at an old version of the page from the history (bug 51728).

There is no VE support so far.

We may have time to add logging, but you're right there is no history or
logging yet.
