Bugzilla is regularly used for discussion (among devs and non-devs alike) and calling it abuse (comment 18) to use Bugzilla's comments field for discussion isn't appropriate at all. Richard Morris' comment (comment 20) correctly points to on-wiki discussion that's directly relevant to this bug.
