Hmmm... can you give some actual usage examples?
The main thing I'd think of would be for adding a new section above any
Category or interlanguage links at the bottom of the page. This could in theory
be handled by making the system smarter, so it skips those out for the
final-section replacement.
On the other hand if folks also want some closing templates or something, then
it would probably be necessary to indicate that you want to stop at that point.
