It would be awesome if Special:LinkSearch, which searches through all external
links, could also support ISBN, PMID, and RFC links, which are referred to as
"magic links".
I see this as being as simple as replicating the external link search structure
in a second, parallel Special:MagicSearch page, possibly with subpages, which
doesn't seem too terribly difficult. Doing it "right" will probably mean
building some nice convenience functions and making the special pages a lot
shorter.
