I think it is better to compare it with system messages in the MediaWiki namespace. Those show also the code and not what has done with the code. Categories and file pages are in much different use than the campaign pages. When I work I need a total overview of something, the raw one doesn't give me that overview, while the table structure does (as I learned to understand what is doing what with what results). It is not so much liking or disliking it, I understand json is needed to let it work properly and I deal with it, that is ok. I also learned to deal with the table structure.
