Err… this was already done by Trevor many months ago. See
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:VisualEditor_-_Icon_-_Menu.svg for the
version on Commons, let alone the version in the repo…

No, we're not using a character, we'll use an SVG icon like the rest of the
interface.
