1) Go to [[Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-echo]] and disable notifications
for thanking
2) Login with another account
3) Pick any edit's diff from the Special:Contributions of the user in step 1
4) Click "thank" and confirm
Observed: "thanked" appears instead of the "thank" link.
Expected: I'm told that thanking was not possible; or, better, in step (4) I
don't see the thank button in the first place.
