Ideas:
Keeping the global signature feature:
* Keep the signature in a user subpage so it can be edited by sysops.
* Allow blocks to reset signatures.
* Allow administrative editing of global user signatures
Rolling back the global signature feature:
* Store the at-the-time signature separately or in the wikitext.
