Trevor Parscal <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED CC| |[email protected] Resolution|WORKSFORME |--- --- Comment #9 from Trevor Parscal <[email protected]> --- The use of a smile is defensible, not a slam-dunk obvious best choice, but defensible - if for no other reason than the lack of a better alternative. But a green speech bubble is not a face. It should contain nothing, or if you must put something inside, maybe it could contain letters, words or lines representing a sentence. And even if it were a circle, which is an acceptable shape for a face, green is not an appropriate color for a face. Yellow is the most common but if you don't want to use yellow for some reason, the only safe colors to use are neutrals. Trying to merge a speech bubble and a face is where this icon falls apart. I'd really like to see this actually resolved and am happy to defend the merits of this icon being indeed "creepy". Iconic green faces: - Witches - Monsters - Zombies - The Incredible Hulk while angry Just type green face into Google search. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
