I just wanted to download The Count of Monte Cristo to read on my tablet.
Validation of the file at http://validator.idpf.org/ failed with a ton of error
messages (and the file could not be uploaded to my Google Books account).
The issues turned out to be:
* XML IDs must not start with numbers
* & symbols must be escaped in XML.
(After fixing them manually with sed etc. the file worked fine)
