The Echo on-wiki "hangar" notification that someone replied to your post is

This takes you to the topic but doesn't highlight the post. The same URL
appears twice. The _post_ link within the notification is
<http://ee-flow.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Spage&workflow=05061628bfecb62ef835fa163e68c4ac&action=view>
, doesn't highlight the post to which the person replied.
If I right-click a topic permalink and open in a new tab or copy the link,

There's no detailed spec for how these work, but it seems to me they should be
sharing code and thus produce the same behavior.
