In trying to port one of my Toolserver tools that uses spatial datatypes, I ran
into https://mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-4521 which is fixed in 5.5.31

For my specific case, upgrading the replicas would be ideal, but doing just
tools-db would work (I join against enwiki_p to build the table initially, but
don't need it for regular use of the tool, and only the regular usage is
affected by the bug)
