Some posts magically add the characters  â when we hit save.

Ah, ok, tested:
* An n-dash (–) gets replaced with â. (In the saved version, as well as
rendered version. If I edit the post, the dash is gone and â is there instead)
* A space followed by a colon, turns into Â. (But only in the rendered view. If
I edit the post, the space and colon are normal, and no  is visible.)
