Bug ID: 57019
Summary: VisualEditor: local wiki should have predecedence over
interwikis
Product: VisualEditor
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Unprioritized
Component: Editing Tools
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected],

Classification: Unclassified
Mobile Platform: ---
Reported by Mattho69 on frwiki [1].
If I try to add a link to a Wikipedia article using its full form
(http://fr.wikipedia/org/wiki/…), it is saved as an interwiki (see [2]) instead
of a local wikilink.
I notice that it only happens with HTTP links, not with HTTPS ones (see [3]),
which are not converted (maybe separate bug ?).
