The framework used by the application catches unhandled exceptions from routes
(pages) served by the application, but exceptions thrown during framework
initialization and/or the internal exception handling route are not handled
explicitly.
* An exception during the error handler process will cause the user to see an
undecorated Apache 500 error page
* If the template cache directory isn't writable the user sees a blank page
