This is due to the fact mobile currently disables red links. We're being
(overly?) cautious about ensuring we don't generate lots of spam via mobile for
project editors.
If you enable the mobile beta (Via Special MobileOptions [1]) you'll see this
problem go away.
There is a tracking bug for this.
