           Summary: LaTeX verbatim syntax highlighting
           Product: MediaWiki extensions
           Version: any
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: SyntaxHighlight (GeSHi)
        AssignedTo: soxre...@gmail.com
        ReportedBy: sander...@gmail.com

When you use the verbatim or lstlisting environment in a LaTeX document you
don't want it to be highlighted as LaTeX code. Since this code isn't executed
as LaTeX, the best would be to give it a single colour like is done in the kile
editor.

I'll give you two links where you can compare highlighted code as the GeSHi
does it and the kile style.
