Summary: Edit window scrolls to top when using link dialog Product: MediaWiki extensions Version: any Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: Normal Component: UsabilityInitiative AssignedTo: tpars...@wikimedia.org ReportedBy: gti...@gmail.com CC: roan.katt...@gmail.com, ngau...@wikimedia.org, amil...@wikimedia.org Sometimes, when I use the link dialog to create internal links, the textbox scrolls to the top when I click on Insert (the cursor stays where it was). I've seen this on FF 3.5/WinXP; I've also heard reports of scrolling to the bottom in some cases. One way to reproduce this: select two words separated by the line break, open the link dialog, and turn them into an internal link. There are more realistic scenarios when this bug appears, but I have no idea what the conditions are in those cases. Also, the newline turns into two spaces when the selected text is copied into the text field of the dialog. I don't know if this is a feature or a byproduct of the bug; removing the newline is a good idea as it would break formatting, but it should turn into a single newline. (I have [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editor.singleLine.pasteNewlines Editor.singleLine.pasteNewlines] at the default setting, so that would be the browser default behavior too.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
