I'm really surprised this hasn't been reported yet. The new search function is
nearly unusable on my phone. It doesn't work correctly with the keyboard (the
keyboard will close after the first letter is input) and it's much slower than
the previous version of search. This is on Android 2.3.3 and it displays this
behavior with the stock keyboard. I don't see what needed to be improved over
the old version - is there really any value to showing thumbnail pictures?
Please fix this issue or better yet go back to the old version.
