this would be inconsistent with the entire rest of the interface.

outlines plans for button design in the future.
In general, when filing tickets you may want to consider using

structured approach, especially when the intention or the actual underlying
problem is a bit unclear.
I might prefer buttons with brown text on a black background, and there might
be reasons why my preference is not be a good idea for the everybody else. :)
