Bug ID: 63335 Summary: Mobile should have better support for TitleBlacklist errors Product: MobileFrontend Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: Unprioritized Component: General/Unknown Assignee: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org Reporter: rkald...@wikimedia.org CC: aricha...@wikimedia.org, jgon...@wikimedia.org, jrob...@wikimedia.org, kw...@wikimedia.org, maxsem.w...@gmail.com, rkald...@wikimedia.org Web browser: --- Mobile Platform: --- On Desktop, if you try to create an article that is title blacklisted (via the TitleBlacklist extension), it gives you the following error as soon as you click the edit button: You do not have permission to create pages, for the following reason: The title "Heck" has been banned from creation. It matches the following blacklist entry: .*heck.* On mobile, it lets you write the article, but when you try to save it, it gives you a generic "Error, edit not saved" toast error. We should change the behavior on mobile, so that it checks for title blacklist status when you first hit the edit button, and give the user a more specific error message. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
