During the metadata mapping stage, it is only possible to map to metadata
fields from the XML.
But the metadata may not hold some information, especially ones that are common
to all records.
For example, if I upload a public domain collection, it is not likely I will
have {{PD-two|PD-old-100|PD-1923}} in my XML records. But as it is the correct
template for all fields, I want to enter it myself.
Other example: I work at Groß institution and upload our collection. All files
should have |institution= {{Institution:Groß institution}}, but my metadata
does not have it. I want to avoid editing the XML to add this element to every
field.
