Notably, Incubator does not do this. This bug is a result of me talking to the main developer of the Incubator extension, SPQRobin. The change requested has the advantage that in the source code of the Lithuanian BetaWV content project the localised namespace aliases could be used already and a lot of work and time changing these would be saved after a possible import to lt.wikiversity.org. As far as I have heard, SPQRobin is also thinking about fixing the namespace issues for Incubator in the future and this change to BetaWV could be seen as a temporary solution to make editing there more comfortable.
