            Bug ID: 64375
Summary: VisualEditor: "Unknown error" corrupts page upon
saving, but saving again fixes the problems it created
           Product: VisualEditor
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Unprioritized
         Component: General
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected],
                    [email protected]
       Web browser: ---
   Mobile Platform: ---

Actual Results:
TeamGale added some citations and then saved the page. She received an
"unknown error" and assumed that the page did not get saved. So she saved the
page again. Upon checking the history, she found that both attempts to save
the page had resulted in a new version:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sakis_Rouvas&diff=605148987&oldid=605133988

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sakis_Rouvas&diff=605149076&oldid=605148987

However, the first diff removed the end of the page, including the reference
secyion, external links, navboxes, succession boxes, categories, and more.
These were automagically restored when she saved the second time.

Reproducible: Didn't try

TeamGale usually edits with Firefox 28 on Windows 8.
