You haven't yet shown that ordinary users confuse it with a byline. If that were the case, the wording could potentially be improved. It really doesn't use the standard byline format, which often says something like: By Firstname Lastname, Date or: Firstname Lastname, Date, City, Country Bylines don't have qualifications like "Last edited by". They also don't change over time (with rare exceptions).
