I like!

My first guess: Click on a canvas and use Ctrl key && mouse scroll wheel. But
the standard zoom behavior of browser takes over. That idea probably came from
using PDF viewers too much.

Second guess: I mark a timeframe by clicking the left mouse button, dragging it
horizontally while keeping it clicked, like in an audio editor.

Bingo.

I also highly appreciate that the y axis zoom is adjusted automatically!
And clicking for a bit longer on the canvas seems to reset the zoom.
