today, it looks to me like the translations are now applied correctly.

What has changed between what Niklas wrote in comment #7 and now is that a full
"scap" deployment was done which rebuilds the localization caches and sawiki
switched from the 1.24wmf5 branch to the 1.24wmf6 branch. In theory the daily
LocalisationUpdate job should have propagated these translation changes
earlier. In practice I think we have seen similar issues where the
LocalisationUpdate job doesn't actually update all of the languages/keys.

My only familiarity with the LocalisationUpdate job was looking into
strangeness when the i18n files were changing from php to json.
