If a user adds one or more URLs pointing to internal pages within the wiki
itself, they are forced to solve a captcha before they can submit the edit.
However, adding such URLs in external link format is necessary in order to link
to diffs, older revisions and so forth, as MediaWiki lacks any functionality
for doing so by other means. This makes makes participating in discussions
where such links frequently need to be created very frustrating for affected
users.
The extension should ignore URLs that point to pages within the wiki.
