Summary: Hide bots shouldn't hide previous non-bot edits
Product: MediaWiki
Version: 1.16-svn
Platform: All
URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help_talk:Watching_pages#
Bug_in_hide_bot_edits
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: Watchlist
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
If I have “Expand watchlist to show all changes, not just the most recent”
unselected in my preferences and click on “Hide bots” on my watchlist, pages
where the last edit is by a bot are not shown, even if there are non-bot edits
that should make it show on my watchlist.
E.g. if the most recent edits to a page are:
24 April 2010 18:00 SomeBot
24 April 2010 12:00 Non-bot user
then with “Hide bots” off, I see correctly the edit by SomeBot, but with that
option on, I should see the edit by Non-bot user, but instead the page doesn't
show up in the watchlist at all.
